We wrapped up Hispanic Heritage Month with a celebration of culture, creativity, and community! Our students showcased their incredible creativity and dedication through Frida Kahlo displays outside each advisement classroom, highlighting her life, art, and cultural impact.

The celebration continued with two special guest speakers who shared their knowledge and culture, followed by a delicious Latin American lunch featuring pupusas, tamales, causa, oven-roasted chicken, arroz con gandules, drinks, and desserts!

A heartfelt thank you to our guest speakers, parents, and families for their participation, support, and generosity in making this celebration so meaningful. ❤️

We are proud of our students and their amazing work honoring Hispanic heritage and culture! 🌎

Celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month at CCI! 💃🎶

Our CCI students had a wonderful opportunity to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month through music, dance, food, and cultural immersion.

Students visited the Bronner Center for the Performing Arts to enjoy the beautiful and vibrant performance of Flamenco Ballet Hispano, experiencing the richness of Hispanic music, dance, traditions, and cultures from different Spanish-speaking countries.

The experience continued with visits to a Hispanic supermarket and bakery, where our students explored traditional foods and enjoyed delicious tortas, tacos, desserts, and other Hispanic specialties.

It was a meaningful day filled with learning, discovery, cultural appreciation, and unforgettable experiences beyond the classroom.
