Emilia Le Abril, Glendale Class of 2027, recently visited two West-MEC campuses as an inaugural American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy (AACP) Pharm4Me Student Ambassador. Emilia spoke with four classes of high school senior pharmacy technician students about the many paths within pharmacy, sharing her own journey as a student pharmacist. As you can see from the photos, she did a wonderful job.

Glendale campus residents and fellows gathered this week with their preceptors and residency directors for a luncheon, celebration of all their accomplishments during the past year, and expressions of gratitude for their service to Midwestern University and their respective organizations. Congratulations to Dr.’s Wil Yebuah (PGY-1 Resident, Walgreens Specialty Pharmacy), Sahar Toluee Achacheluee (PGY-1 Resident, Fry’s Food and Drug), Savannah Cook (Ambulatory Care Fellow, College of Pharmacy), Hannah Hardy (PGY-1 Resident, Safeway), and Howard Chhen (Infectious Disease Fellow, College of Pharmacy). Friends and alumni of the College of Pharmacy, Glendale campus, gathered to celebrate the 25th Graduation Anniversary of the Class of 2001 as part of the Arizona Pharmacy Association Annual Meeting in Scottsdale on June 5. The gathering included family, new and current students, and a special presentation by Dr. Dennis McAllister, first Assistant Dean and Experiential Education Director of the College of Pharmacy-Glendale. We honor all the members of our inaugural graduating class and thank them for their service to the profession of pharmacy!

Congratulations to Glendale Class of 2027 student Emilia Le Abril, who recently earned multiple honors. In May, Emilia was recognized as the Outstanding Student Leader by the Midwestern University Student Senate. This week, she was named as one of 43 PharmD students nationwide to participate in the AACP's inaugural Pharm4Me Student Ambassador program. Emilia and the other ambassadors will serve one-year terms, creating social media content, writing presentations for prospective students, and participating in recruitment events.

Emilia, we couldn't be any prouder of you and your dedication to the profession of pharmacy. Thank you for your dedication and service!
