Meet our team for the 2026-2027 school year!

First up is Alyssa! She is a Senior Ag Business major and here’s why she joined DU.

I joined Ducks because of the amazing people, the friendships I’ve made, and my passion for learning more about and helping protect our waterfowl and wetlands. I’m excited for another great year with Ducks and all the opportunities, events, and memories that come along with it. I can’t wait to see everyone at banquet and throughout the year!

Next we have Dillana! She is a Senior Ag Business major and here’s why she joined DU.

I joined Ducks Unlimited because I wanted to become more involved in conservation while connecting with other students who share my interests in agriculture, wildlife, and the outdoors. As Vice President this year, I’m most excited to help plan events, get more students involved, and make this a fun and successful year for our chapter. I’m looking forward to creating new experiences, meeting more people, and making a positive impact through Ducks Unlimited.

Up next is Abby! She is a Junior Animal Science Pre-Professional major and here’s why she joined DU.

Learning that DU is not only a group for waterfowl hunters, but also for those who appreciate the importance of wildlife in our ecosystems is what really drew me in. I’ve always been an outdoors person and it is amazing to see what this organization is able to do to protect the balance of nature.

I have grown up hunting my whole life and I believe in protecting the land and wildlife. Ducks Unlimited has given me the perfect opportunity to do this.

Meet Maddi! She is a Junior Small Animal Science major, here’s why she joined DU.

Joining Ducks Unlimited gave me a way to connect with something I’ve grown up around while also meeting people who share that same appreciation for the outdoors. Over the past three years, DU has become more than just a club to me. It’s given me new experiences, great memories, and a community that I’m excited to continue being a part of.

This past weekend, two of our chapter volunteers had the opportunity to attend Ducks Unlimited Leadership Conference in Memphis, TN.

Third Term is designed to equip collegiate chapters with the tools and resources needed to grow and succeed. Throughout the weekend, our volunteers participated in leadership workshops, connected with fellow chapters from across the United States and Canada, and brought home new ideas to strengthen the future of our chapter.

To top it all off, our chapter was honored to receive a chapter award—a testament to the hard work and dedication of our members. We’re excited to bring what we learned back to campus and continue making an impact for wetlands conservation.
