Valley of Columbus, A.A.S.R.

The Scottish Rite degrees are allegorical dramas, staged with costumes, scenery, special effects, and the full rigging of a stage production. The degrees present Masonic philosophy in ways that inspire greater knowledge and self-reflection. Degrees explore one or more of the organization's six Core Values -- Reverence for God, Integrity, Devotion to Country, Justice, Tolerance, and Service to Humanity.

These degrees are not meant to dictate what a Freemason should think about the philosophical and ethical themes of the Craft but instead, inspire Brothers to journey to their own unique insight.

In your Valley, Brethren, you have many opportunities and pathways to experience these degrees and one of those is participating in a local degree experience or LDE!

This past Saturday, members from all around the Valley made the Journey to Lancaster Lodge to participate in such an event!

Keep a watch out in the next newsletter, upon the Valley website and from your local Lodge Ambassador for the next LDE and we hope to see you there!

BROTHERS — WE NEED OF VOICES! 🎶

The Valley of Columbus Scottish Rite Choir is recruiting singers for our upcoming Fall Reunion on November 7th!

We’ll be providing music for the 4°, 14°, 16°, 18°, and 32°, and we’d love to add some new voices to the choir.

You don’t have to be a professional singer — if you can carry a tune, enjoy music, and want another way to participate in the work of the Valley, come sing with us!

🎼 Rehearsals at Blendon Lodge:

• October 11 — 7:00 PM

• October 18 — 6:30 PM

• October 25 — 4:00 PM

🎭 Performance: November 7 — Fall Reunion

Interested? Have questions? Reach out via the info on the flier.

Even if singing isn’t your thing, please share this with a Brother who might be interested!

🎶 Help us put some more voices in the Valley of Columbus Choir! 🎶

Scottish Rite Freemasonry builds its teachings on six values, one of which is Service to Humanity. Masons seek to strengthen their local communities, promote human dignity, and help create a better world for everyone. With this great aim in view, current and past Officers of the Princes of Jerusalem recently served dinner to locals at the Faith Mission.
