We’re celebrating Teri Zuccaro 🥳

Teri is an Accounting instructor at the University of Dubuque and has previously taught across the Midwest at Clarke University, University of Wisconsin-Platteville, and Northeast Iowa Community College.

In Teri’s words, “The beauty of teaching for me is that every day or class is different. No two students are alike. Students bring many different gifts and knowledge to the classroom. The joy is to see students grow and improve in their critical thinking, communication, and knowledge skills. I know Accounting is not the most glamorous subject, but I hope my students take something of value away from my class and can apply what they have learned to their professional and/or personal lives.”

Jawanza Evans (C’22) knew her future included a college degree. At the University of Dubuque LIFE - Dubuque, she found a program “designed to make having a life and earning a degree possible.” She said whenever life got chaotic, LIFE allowed her to pause without fear of losing credits. Jawanza will take her education to the next level this summer when she begins the master in management – communication management program.
