As we start to countdown the days until our Spartans walk across the stage, we want to highlight students who have been hired or accepted before graduation 👏
Nicholas Hubbard is a senior accounting major with an economics minor and will be heading to PricewaterhouseCoopers in Chicago as an Investigations & Forensics Consulting Associate.
From campus involvement to networking and internship experience, he turned opportunities into a career.
His advice?
“Don’t be afraid of rejection and put yourself out there. Networking is so important- and the more you do it, the easier it gets.”
Taylor Martin is a senior sports marketing and management major with minors in economics and business and will be heading to Castle Rock, Colorado, to begin her career as a golf tournament manager with Arrowhead Golf Club!
She expressed that her internship experience, campus involvement, and previous work experience most helped her secure this opportunity.
Her advice?
"Start gaining real-world experience early through internships, jobs, or volunteering to build your resume and skills. Make an effort to network with professors, classmates, and alumni since many opportunities come from connections. Be open to uncertainty- your first job doesn’t have to be perfect, just a step forward."
