In 1913–1914, a triangular plot of land in front of the south entrance of Tower Hall, by the current Peace Doors and Cloister Walk, was planted with trees and a statue of St. Scholastica. The statue was moved near the entrance to the campus hiking trails, creating a popular, sacred spot for students and visitors to sit, ponder, and wonder.

A lot has changed over the years, but some things remain at the heart of being a Saint. 💙💛

From the early days to today, generations of Saints have carried the Benedictine Values of community, hospitality, stewardship, and a love for learning into the world.

Here’s to the memories made, the lessons learned, and all the years of Saints pride that continue to connect us. ✨

Congratulations to Brian Marshik '11, baseball alumni and Hall of Fame inductee!

"Choosing to attend St. Scholastica was one of the best decisions I could have made. Some of my closest friendships were formed on the baseball field, and those relationships have continued well beyond our college years.
"The lessons and values I learned at CSS, both on and off the field, continue to influence me today. Our coaches took tremendous pride in developing more than just good baseball players or strong students—they wanted to develop good people. They taught us the importance of character, accountability, hard work, and being someone others can trust and depend on. I’m incredibly grateful for my time at St. Scholastica, the people I met along the way, and the lifelong impact the CSS baseball program has had on me."
