🍁Help Support Our 2nd Year Class Attend CSM! 🍁

Our 2nd Year Class is raising funds for the APTA CSM, and we’re offering fall yard clean-up services to help make it happen! 🧹🍁

The APTA CSM is the largest physical therapy conference in the country and helps our students learn and create connections within the physical therapy community!💪

Need a hand getting your yard ready for the season? Let us do the work! We’ll help with raking leaves, yard clean-up, and other fall outdoor tasks while putting the proceeds toward our class trip.

📍 Support our students🍂 Get your yard fall-ready💙 Make a difference in our class trip

Interested in booking a clean-up or making a donation? Click on the link at the top of our page to sign up!

Every job and donation brings us one step closer to our goal. Thank you for supporting our class! 🙌

Happy 🏠 Meet Ryan!

Ryan is a board certified as a Clinical Specialist in Geriatric PT (GCS), a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ), a Certified Wound Specialist (CWS), and has his MBA in Healthcare Administration. He is the AVP of Therapy Care and Research at CenterWell Home Health. In his current role He supports and directs therapy practice and specially programming across CenterWell Home Health’s nearly 330 branches and 4500+ therapy clinicians which include PT, OT, and SLP. He is also involved with the APTA’s Home Health Section and is hoping to be on the Executive Committee as the new Secretary after the next election cycle. If you’re a member of the Home Health Section, Ryan would love to have your vote in November!

After graduating from CSS in 2003, Ryan mostly worked with the geriatric fall risk population. While there is widespread knowledge of the impact of falls in the geriatric population, he believes that the PT profession has the opportunity to improve the efficacy of the treatment approach with these often-vulnerable patients. His favorite type of patients to treat are patients with BPPV due to PT being able to have a “fast win” with some patients with this condition.

His favorite part of PT school was the camaraderie that developed in his class throughout the years they spent in class and studying. He stated that the feeling remained with him after school and helped connect him to the profession as well as to CSS throughout the years. His oldest son currently attends CSS and Ryan is excited for him to have a similar experience!

Ryan described PT as: “We learn more and more every year about how movement and engagement/social connection are some of the best tools to live a more fulfilled life - PTs are experts at driving improved movement and facilitating a more engaged life.”
