Very proud of the young ladies on my WVSU women's tennis team.

They just recorded a 3.87 team grade point average for the fall semester.

This semester they also picked up individual wins over players from Dl Virginia Tech, Virginia Commonwealth, St. Francis, and Radford.

They also went undefeated in two dual matches with wins at Cedarville and Virginia State.

Success in the classroom and on the court.

Congratulations young ladies!

Went with my players who are still in town to see the movie "King Richard" starring Will Smith as Venus and Serena Williams' father.
Great movie about the girls' childhood and what it took for them to become champions.
Entertaining, great tennis history lesson for my players, and hopefully inspirational.

“All my life I’ve been waiting for this…a Williams is going to win.” Will Smith is in the inspiring true story of the coach/mentor/father that b...
