🌳Our Residential Forestry course teaches students the benefits and contributions trees have in their planted environments. Students learn to identify major, native and introduced, tree species and their site conditions. They acquire the knowledge necessary to understand how to select appropriate specimens for urban and suburban settings and their planting, care and on-going management needs.

New to this semester our instructor, a seasoned arborist in the industry, will provide an intro to basic tree-climbing requirements and skills, providing a real-world look into the art of this specialized field.
