Taking Admissions & Campus Safety to the Streets!
NCCU Admissions is partnering with NCCU Campus Police and Duke University Campus Police to take Admissions and campus safety to the streets!
This collaboration is about more than recruitment. It's about building trust, creating partnerships, and strengthening the connection between our students, our universities, and the Durham community.
As we welcome future Eagles to North Carolina Central University, we want students and families to know that their safety, security, and sense of belonging matter. Campus safety plays a vital role in creating an environment where students can learn, grow, engage, and thrive both on campus and throughout the surrounding community.
Through this partnership, Admissions and Campus Police are working together to meet students where they are in our neighborhoods, in our schools, at community events, and throughout Durham. By bringing together recruitment, public safety, education, and community engagement, we’re demonstrating what true university partnership looks like.
