Forecast looks pretty good for this evening. We'll be out at 8:30pm. If you can see any stars, join us to see more!

03/25/2022

It’s cloudy now but forecast says it will clear later. We’ll be out at the observatory at 8:30. If you see clearing skies come join us for some stargazing and conversation.

03/04/2022

This evening looks pretty good for strargazing and not too cold. Come join us at 7pm!

Open House restarting February 25!
It now feels safe enough to gather outdoors that we will hopefully restart Open House activities soon, weather and pandemic developments permitting.
Hope to see you out there soon!

Last week was our first cancellation of the fall. This evening should be a good redemption. Come early for possible Venus views, later on we have Jupiter and Saturn, in between there will be clusters, nebulae, maybe a galaxy or two.

09/24/2021

This evening should be a good one for stargazing. A bit chilly and clear, should get good views of deep sky objects as well as Jupiter and Saturn!

09/10/2021

High clouds are predicted to clear by evening and we expect good conditions this evening. Lows in the 50s, our hollow will be cool. Early birds may get a look at Venus and the crescent moon.

09/03/2021

Second Open House tonight. Forecast looks good. It’s a lot cooler out there than it has been lately. Join us at 8:30pm, should be good!

08/27/2021

First Open House since spring 2020 is ON for tonight! Forecast looks good. Jupiter and Saturn will be visible late. Globular clusters early. Might even catch a late Perseid or two. Mask up and join us for some safe outdoors fun!
