The Music Library and Music Media Center collections strive to support the researchers and performers in the music and other departments at Duke, as well as the recreational performing and listening needs of the broader Duke community. Our collection contains approximately 120,000 print items (books, scores, and journals), 25,000 sounds recordings in various formats, and 13,000 microforms. We are
currently in the process of cataloging these items to increase their availability; thank you for your patience during this transition. Due to space limitations approximately 25-30% of our print collection is housed at the LSC with a 24-hour delivery time. Subject areas especially well-represented in the collections are:
