Oak Grove Lodge No 750 AF & AM

Due to the expected severe weather forecast to impact central North Carolina tomorrow afternoon into the evening, Oak Grove Lodge No 750 AF & AM is cancelling its Stated Communication scheduled for tomorrow, Monday, March 16th, out of an abundance of caution for the safety of our members and their families.

According to the US National Weather Service Raleigh NC, central North Carolina is under a Moderate Risk (Level 4 of 5) for severe weather on Monday. Current forecasts indicate:

🌪️ Tornadoes: A few significant tornadoes (up to EF2) are possible
💨 Wind: Widespread damaging wind gusts of 75+ mph
⏰ Timing: Monday afternoon into the evening
⚠️ Confidence: High confidence in severe impacts

Given these conditions, travel may become dangerous, and we feel it is prudent to cancel rather than risk anyone’s safety.

We will reschedule our Stated Communication for Monday, March 23rd, with:

Meal: 6:30 PM
Emergent Communication: 7:30 PM

It is with deep sorrow that we inform you that on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, our beloved Brother Cecil Woods laid down his working tools. In his memory, Worshipful Master Jeremy Powell has declared a lunar month of mourning for Oak Grove Lodge No 750 AF & AM.

Oak Grove Lodge No 750 AF & AM held its October Stated Communication (i.e. monthly meeting) this past Monday, October 20, 2025. Our theme for the evening was Past Masters’ Night, and we honored several brethren for their outstanding contributions to our Lodge over the past year. A special thank you to all of our Past Masters (i.e. Past Presidents), members, and friends for coming out and making it a very special evening!
