Theta Nu Xi Multicultural Sorority, Inc. - Delta Chapter

Theta Nu Xi Multicultural Sorority, Inc. - Delta Chapter "Sisters of Diversity Together as ONE" Aided in her endeavors by many sisters, she sought to bring the vibrant sisterhood to campus.

In the fall of 1999, through the initial interest of friend Melissa Botvinick, Founding Sister Monica Copeland was introduced to the sisterhood, which immediately and wholeheartedly embraced her. Cary Chen, Utaukwa Brown, and Esther Han joined with Monica in a struggle for recognition at Duke University, and to work towards the unfolding of the sisterhood on their campus. Despite many obstacles, t

he sisters were not meant to yield to the standards of any existing organization, nor water down their multicultural focus. Thus, on April 14, 2000, the Delta Chapter of Theta Nu Xi emerged and began moving forward in its endeavor to raise awareness, unite the student body, and devote itself to the sisterhood's mission statement.
