Last Saturday, Det 475 hosted our annual Family Day Lab! Cadets and cadre gave briefs informing friends and family about the cadet wing, tiger teams, ODT’s, and more. Visitors were able to see where their cadet fell into our structure and had the opportunity to learn about our program as a whole!

Following Leadership Lab this past week, Det 475 held its first ever AFSC Drop Night. Welcome back Screaming Eagles 🦅
This past week, during Leadership Lab 2 cadets traveled campus during the first ever Knowledge Hunt to learn and demonstrate their understanding of topics including Dress and Appearance, Drill Fundamentals, Chain of Command, and more. Cadets ended Lab with the Rapid Knowledge Relay to test what they learned while having some friendly competition! Congratulations to Charlie Squadron for taking the win on the relay race 🐍
During Thursday PT, cadets were challenged with the Guidon Games, an intense race where cadets worked in their squadrons to complete a series of exercises. This was wrapped up in a tie-breaker relay with Delta Squadron finishing on top. Congratulations Delta Squadron 🐉

Det 475 finished of this great semester with a Commanders Call Leadership Lab. Congratulations to all cadets who received awards or scholarship’s for their hard work they have put into this semester. Additionally, we had a change of command from outgoing Group Commander, Cadet John-Zensky, to next years Group Commander which is Cadet Hakala.

This past monday, our cadets had the opportunity to meet with Lt Col (ret.) Scott Poteet, UNH AFROTC alumnus class of 1996. Lt Col Poteet is the Mission Pilot for the SpaceX Polaris Dawn that is projected to launch this summer! Det. 475 has been busy the past few days.

On Wednesday 4/20 we conducted this weeks Lead Lab focusing on completing and objective without command being on site as will be the case in the real Air Force.

On Friday 4/15 Det. 475 had our dining out, complete with guest speakers and grog it was certainly a night to remember!

This week Det. 475 showed up looking sharp in blues for our final open ranks inspection of the semester. Following completion of the ORI the FTP’s took command of the squadron to complete a squadron wide GLP to plan the elimination of hostile forces, evacuation of civilians, and resupply of humanitarian aid. We move into next week with confidence and a desire for constant improvement! 🌲🦅✈️
