Celebrating community, safety, and connection! ❤️🤍

Durham Alumnae Chapter partnered with DHA, Ashley Canady, and the residents of McDougald Terrace for National Night Out at the TA Grady Center. More than 15 sorors volunteered to support the event and register voters, while over 100 students received backpacks and more than 175 free meals were provided.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this evening a meaningful celebration of community and service!

Today, the Durham Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. joins communities around the world in recognizing the importance of ending child marriage and investing in girls’ rights.

Every girl deserves the opportunity to learn, grow, lead, and shape her own future—free from practices that limit her potential.

Let’s continue to advocate for girls, invest in their dreams, and create a future where every girl has the freedom to thrive.

🎀 October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month! 🎀

The American Cancer Society is leading the charge to end breast cancer as we know it, for everyone. Through Making Strides Against Breast Cancer, individuals, teams, and companies come together to support breast cancer survivors, those living with metastatic breast cancer, caregivers, and families impacted by the disease.

The Durham Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. invites you to join us for Making Strides of the Triangle as we walk together to raise awareness, support those impacted by breast cancer, and help fuel the fight toward a future without breast cancer.
