Due to inclement weather, MSU COM Department of Family & Community Medicine will be closed Wednesday, January 30 and Thursday, January 31 until further notice.

All Clinics will be closed as well.

Michigan State University is suspending classes beginning at 8 a.m. on Wednesday, January 30 for all locations due to anticipated and sustained severe wind chills below -20 degrees F.

This past weekend MAFP collaborated with MSU College of Osteopathic Medicine and MSU College of Human Medicine to host the fifth annual Michigan Future of Family Medicine Conference.

MSU College of Osteopathic Medicine Chair of the Department of Family & Community Medicine Dr. Amy Keenum, DO, PharmD, FAAFP welcomed nearly 100 medical students who attend this year's conference. Along with a panel of Family Physicians Dr. Keenum spoke to students about the career options in Family Medicine.
