📞 The Center for Survivors needs fall volunteers for their Survivor Advocacy and Crisis Intervention team! Volunteers will answer anonymous calls and chats as well as provide in-person support for survivors as they navigate their next steps. Training will take place in late September through October. Apply by 5PM on Sunday, September 13th at centerforsurvivors.msu.edu/volunteers!
🕊️ Join CCEL and Religious, Spiritual, and Secular Identities for our International Peace Day Celebration on September 17th! We will start with interfaith dialogue at the Peace Pole in the People's Park before marching to the Alumni Memorial Chapel. There, our conversation will continue with a discussion of the UN Sustainable Development Goals. All students, faculty, staff, and community members are welcome!
♻️ The Great Michigan Compost Tour is making a stop at the MSU Surplus Store and Recycling Center on September 18th, 11AM-3PM! All students, faculty, staff, and community members can learn more about how our campus's vermicomposting operations repurpose food waste and fuel climate resilience. While you're there, explore the Surplus Store and join Student Upcycle Friday for sustainable crafts during the same times!
