MSU Recycling Center When Michigan State University goes green, it goes to the MSU Surplus Store and Recycling Center.

Our goal is to keep the MSU community as green as possible by keeping our materials out of landfills, and we do that in a lot of ways.

We have been busy all week recylemaxxing the polystyrene from student move-in! Yesterday we made a 6,000 pound mountain before loading it onto four semi-trucks. Special thanks to MSU Live On for their partnership collecting foam across campus and Dart Container for providing a local outlet for this hard-to-recycle material.
