Kudos to the Canadian National Railway Company on a fun day celebrating America’s 250th anniversary and the longstanding CN-MSU relationship! 🤝

We're grateful for CN’s continued support of the Canadian Studies Center, including our CN Forum, and we look forward to building on this partnership for years to come! 🇨🇦 🇺🇸

Earlier this week, I had the pleasure of joining East Lansing Mayor Erik Altmann, community leaders and scores of rail enthusiasts to welcome Canadian National Railway Company President and CEO Tracy Robinson to East Lansing as part of CN’s America250 Whistle Stop Tour.

It was great to explore CN’s commemorative locomotives, featuring artwork celebrating the 250th anniversary of the United States, take a photo alongside CN’s railroad safety mascot, Milo, and, most importantly, thank Tracy for CN’s continued partnership with Michigan State University through its endowment supporting MSU’s Canadian Studies Center and its biennial CN Forum.

MSU’s connection to the rails goes beyond our partnership with CN. The Broad College of Business also offers a Railway Management Certificate Program, preparing students for careers in an industry that plays an important role in our economy and communities.

A great day celebrating history, partnership and the many connections that keep us moving forward.
