MSU Sociology is pleased to invite all to the 2026 Stan & Toba Kaplowitz Distinguished Lecture Series featuring Dr. Brendan Nyhan, James O. Freedman Presidential Professor of Government at Dartmouth College. Dr. Nyhan will discuss "Misunderstanding the Harms of Online Misinformation" at 3 p.m Wednesday Sept. 30 in the Kellogg Center Auditorium. This event is free and open to all, but registration is requested.

A new semester has begun, and our Office of Institutional Access in partnership with our MSU FAME program housed in the MSU School of Social Work are collecting items to support the ThriveSpace Essentials Corner and the FAME Care Closet!

You can drop off items directly to Room 442 Berkey Hall and by ordering from our wishlist. All donations directly help support our students.
