Since 2007, the Post-BA World Language Teacher Certification Program (WLTCP) offers a high-quality, cost-effective, 2-year pathway to a rewarding career in language education for individuals who hold a bachelor’s degree in any field and are fluent in Spanish or Mandarin Chinese. You will earn both a teaching certificate AND a Master’s Degree!

The 1st year consists of an internship with a veteran mentor teacher in Michigan school districts. The 2nd year offers a residency placement where you will be a teacher-of-record in a US school district, with Michigan State University College of Education support and coursework. Talk about excellent work experience!
