SHOUT-OUT TIME!

A heartfelt THANK YOU to Daylight Lodge No. 48 for setting up a pet food and toy donation bin to help support our shelter animals!

Your kindness, generosity, and thoughtfulness mean so much to us and to the animals who depend on our community for care and comfort. Every bag of food, every toy, and every act of kindness makes a difference in their lives while they wait for their forever homes.

We are so grateful to have community supporters like you who care about the well-being of our furry friends. Thank you for helping us make their days a little brighter and their tails wag a little harder!

Please join us in giving Daylight Lodge No. 48 a BIG round of applause for supporting our shelter animals!

🇺🇸 On October 3, 2026, our Grand Master, Most Worshipful Gil J. Fontes Jr., made his official visitation to the Metro District, hosted by Logia Libertad No. 50, the first Hispanic lodge in our jurisdiction.

The evening featured a talk by Bro∴ Francisco Lovera on the influence of the Enlightenment on the American Revolution and the liberation of Latin America, followed by a presentation from Ms. Milagro Sique, CEO of Dorcas International Institute of Rhode Island , on the organization's work.

Worshipful Master Edgardo Gonzalez and the lodge's Past Masters Committee presented a $500 donation to Ms. Sique, which was matched by the Masonic Charities of Rhode Island and presented by our Grand Master, for a total gift of $1,000.

To close the evening, the Past Masters Committee named our Grand Master an honorary member of Logia Libertad No. 50, and the meeting ended with the lodge's traditional Chain of Union.

Congratulations to all who made it such a wonderful and meaningful evening!
