The Midwest Region left a MIGHTY Mark on Motown at the 52nd Midwest Regional Conference. The love of our sisterhood was shared, memories were made, and our impact was felt as we came together to center ourselves on actualizing our mission to serve. Take a look back at some of our favorite moments from our time together in Detroit.

Sorors, let us know your top three conference memories in the comments! 🔺

Congratulations to our very own, Soror Regina L. Greer, on her election as the Midwest Regional Director!

Throughout this journey, Regina reminded us that leadership is rooted in service, strengthened by sisterhood, and guided by purpose. We have watched her lead with integrity, humility, and an unwavering commitment to the Midwest Region—and today, we celebrate this well-deserved milestone.

From your East St. Louis Alumnae Chapter sisters, thank you for showing us what it means to lead with purpose, serve with excellence, and inspire others along the way.

The 52nd Midwest Regional Conference is officially underway!

Regional Director Brittani N. Blackwell and Regional Representative Ryleigh Clayborn have led the Mighty Midwest with vision, excellence, and a genuine love for every soror in their care. They’ve honored a century of legacy while boldly evolving how we show up for our members and communities — leaving their mark as true Voices of Change and the Rhythm of our Sisterhood.

Sorors Blackwell and Clayborn, your service to this region and this Sisterhood will not be forgotten. We thank you, we honor you, and we celebrate you!

Repost from Delta Sigma Theta - Official

Two hundred fifty years later, America remains a nation of extraordinary promise and unfinished work.

As members of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated, we proudly carry forward the work of expanding opportunity, advancing justice, and strengthening our democracy for generations to come.

We celebrate freedom while acknowledging that it has not always been experienced equally. We honor those whose courage, sacrifice, and perseverance challenged our nation to become more just, and all who continue that work today.

Happy !

Today we honor the legacy of the last enslaved African Americans in Texas who were finally informed of their freedom, some two and a half years after President Abraham Lincoln signed the Emancipation Proclamation. It was those people, and the generations of Texans who came after them, who made the bold declaration to celebrate this day, marking a reality we know far too well in this country: freedom may be delayed, but it will never be denied.

Though our fight for freedom sadly continues, today we pause to celebrate and embrace the joy of our ancestors who believed in the possibilities of a more promising tomorrow. And in that joy, we remain anchored, steadfast in our pursuit of true freedom and justice for all.
