The Lafayette College Arts Society, open to all students, is an organization of musicians, dancers, actors, visual artists, designers, dancers, directors, filmmakers, writers, and other arts enthusiasts. The group offers events and programs on campus as well as trips to performances and events off-campus, promotes friendship and collaboration among students interested in the arts, and works with t
he constituent organizations of the Williams Center for the Arts (Performance Series, College Theater, Art Gallery, Department of Music, Department of Art) to advance the presence of the fine and performing arts on campus. Please note that all members are expected to participate in fundraising activities during the course of the academic year, including staffing post-performance receptions at the Williams Center. All-Arts Picnic to meet students, staff, and faculty at the beginning of the year

Annual Evening of A Cappella concert to benefit Friends of Lafayette A Cappella and the Dan O’Neil Fund
Photo caption contests (one per semester)
Dinner and a Movie—catered dinner followed by a classic musical on the big screen
Café Night—an evening of performances at Gilbert’s (one per semester)

Progressive Dinner—a different course at each Arts House (one per semester, with themes like Luau, Oktoberfest, Southern Comfort Food)
Shake ‘n’ Egg—make your own milkshake and decorate Easter eggs

Happy Ending @ The Spot (last day of classes party!)
The club is led by residents of the Arts Houses on Parson(s) Street, behind the Williams Center. Arts Housers are chosen through an application and interview process.
