Kappa Theta Omega (KTO) member 💗💚Pastor Michelle Nichols gave a powerful sermon on Sunday and the Spirit of the Lord was in the house. Several KTO members joined in fellowship at the New St. John United Methodist Church for their Annual Women’s Day celebration.

Special thanks to Pastor Michelle Nichols, her Charge Men’s Choir and her church members for attending. Pastor Nichols showed up and delivered an empowering message from God. And thank you to all our sisters of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. for coming and supporting the Annual Women’s Day celebration. It was a great day of sisterhood, service and fellowship. 💗💚

It’s the first of June, and we are ready to, “Feed the Movement!”

This week, we are Wearing Pink, Spending Green, and Buying Black by intentional spending with Black-owned restaurants, cafes, bakeries, food trucks, and beverage brands.

Our collective goal is $8 million this month, and it starts with just $19.08. That’s one delicious meal, one specialty coffee, or one sweet treat. Let’s help “Build Our Economic Wealth,” one bite (or sip!) at a time.

This June, we invite every member to join us for the final Black Dollar Days of the Soaring Administration.

Through the power of intentional spending, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® members have invested more than $50 million in Black-owned businesses during this administration. This June, we’re building on that legacy with a goal of spending $8 million more.

Every Pink Friday, we encourage Sisters to “Wear Pink, Spend Green, and Buy Black” by spending at least $19.08 with a Black-owned business.
