⭐️ ACS SHOUTOUT ⭐️

Our final shoutout of the semester goes to Dr. Kent Syverson, a beloved professor of Geology! Anyone who’s taken Oceanography with him can attest to this nomination. He is nominated by our Outreach Coordinator, Ella Josephs. 🧪✨

Congrats to Dr. Syverson and to Ella, who is graduating this spring!

So proud of our VP Nadia Banaszynski for running the FULL EC Marathon today! 🏃‍♀️🔥🔥
Also a reminder, Chemistry Banquet is tomorrow and we’ve been working hard perfecting our liquid nitrogen ice cream recipe that will be given out at the start of social hour tomorrow 👨‍🍳🥶🍦 BE THERE!!

That’s a wrap on ACS spring 2026 with our VERY LAST meet of the semester: Birthday Bingo! Goodbye to our graduating officers and members—thank you for all you’ve brought to this club! We will miss you. 💙💛

You won’t want to miss out on our very last meet of the semester, Chemistry Bingo! This is not only a classic, but a very special event this semester as it’s also ACS’s 66th Birthday!! 🎉

We’ll also be saying farewell to the seniors who are graduating this semester—we’ll miss you, and thank you for being a part of this org!

Show up this Thursday at 4, bring your friends, and dress like a 66-year-old too if it suits your fancy 😉👴
There will be FREE pizza AND CAKE!

⭐️ ACS 7th GENERAL MEET ⭐️

ACS-SA had an amazing time learning about green and environmental chemistry this past Thursday! Daniel was an incredible Jeopardy host, and everyone enjoyed the fun Spongebob theme 🧽🦑

We hope everyone enjoyed the pizza, company, Sundrop (shoutout Dr. Weaver 🗣️), and costumes! And consider joining us next week for this semester’s iteration of CHEM BINGO!

Our Green Chemistry chair Daniel has been working hard to create a jam-packed meet for everyone to enjoy… that may include… Spongebob?? As per usual, there will be LOTS of free pizza, so come hungry and bring your friends!
