Congratulations to Rodd Freitag, who is retiring this week after teaching at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire since 1997. Over the years he has served as a professor of Political Science, department chair, and interim dean of the College of Arts and Sciences.

This includes the Andresen Scholarship (Sabrina Gruzlewski), the Wartolec Scholarship (Iryna Levada), Menard Center for Constitutional Studies Scholarships (Cassi Garrison, Jack Gunderson, Jack Kasper, Kira Kirby, and Trinity Mayfield), and induction of new members into the Pi Sigma Alpha Honor Society.

UW-Eau Claire Criminal Justice Professor Justin Patchin co-authored an article titled, “When Sexting Goes Wrong: The Extent of Nonconsensual Sharing and Sextortion Among U.S. Teens,” which was published in the Journal of Adolescent Health.
