Educational Free Ultrasounds at Chippewa Valley Technical College Educational, free ultrasounds for your entertainment & to help students learn! No diagnoses or reports will be given. Volunteers must be over 18 years old.

The Diagnostic Medical Sonography (DMS) Students from Chippewa Valley Technical College are in need of volunteer patients so they can become proficient in scanning & prepare for internship. Ultrasounds are free to the public but remember this is a learning environment for our students to practice and improve their scanning/ultrasound skills. NO physicians or official medical personnel will be read

ing these exams, and volunteers should not use this as an alternative to actual medical treatment. The students will be observed by a registered sonographer. Ultrasounds are offered in the Fall semester ONLY every year: OB from Sept-Dec and all types of ultrasounds such as: Abdominal, Pelvic (uterus/ovaries), OB, Thyroids, Scrotum, & Vascular studies such as carotid arteries and upper or lower extremity venous or arterial exams from Oct-Dec.
