With Homecoming only 15 weeks away, we’re taking a look back at Homecoming 2020! a year unlike any other. Shaped by COVID-19, masks, modified events, and unprecedented challenges, Homecoming looked a little different that year. Despite it all, we still celebrated, and it couldn’t have been done without YOU!

Time for a ! This Thursday we’re looking at 2019 Homecoming! Looking at these photos make us so excited for this year’s Homecoming!

Now that you’ve met Katelyn, let’s take some time to introduce and reintroduce more of our 2026 HAB Exec team!!

Starting off strong with Jael Doumebo! Jael is serving as this year’s Decorations Director. When asked why she wanted to join HAB, she said:

“I joined HAB because I love Homecoming and wanted to build lasting friendships. It’s one of my favorite weeks on campus, and I knew I wanted to be part of something bigger than myself.”

Up next is Brooklyn Staab. Brooklyn is serving as this year’s Community Outreach Director. Here’s why she joined HAB:

“This is my first of only two years I will spend at UCO, so I wanted to join the exec team to get involved and interact with others as much as possible!”

Up next is Cale Woolf. Cale is serving as this year’s Executive Director. Here’s why he joined HAB:

“Homecoming is my favorite tradition on UCO’s campus! It never fails to bring students, faculty, staff, and alumni together as we celebrate this incredible university. There is nothing more fulfilling than witnessing lifelong memories being made throughout this magical week!”

Now that you’ve met Brooklyn and Katelyn, let’s take some time to introduce more of our 2026 HAB Exec team!!

Starting off strong with Allison Ryan! Allison is serving as this year’s Co-Spirit Director. When asked why she wanted to join HAB, she said:

“I loved being on homecoming staff so much and loved the exec I had, I wanted to continue to be part of homecoming.”

Up next is Abby Hoover. Abby is serving as this year’s Traditions Director. Here’s why she joined HAB:

“After being a part of different leadership roles on campus, I wanted to join the exec team that helps create memorable moments for our students, staff, and community!”

That experience inspired me to apply for a role on the exec team so I could contribute more directly to something that unites so many students, especially within school spirit.”

Now that you’ve met Alex and Kaisyn, let’s take some time to introduce more of our 2026 HAB Exec team!!

Starting off strong with Allie Hunt! Allie is serving as this year’s Staff Director. When asked why she wanted to join HAB, she said:

“As a transfer student, I was very involved at my previous school. I couldn’t wait to dive into the behind-the-scenes aspects of our Homecoming events, create memories with some amazing people, and gain valuable friendships!”

Up next is Tiaunna Travis. Tiaunna is serving as this year’s Marketing Director. Here’s why she joined HAB:

“I joined HAB Exec because I’m passionate about bringing people together through communication. I want everyone to feel like they have a place in Homecoming whether that’s through an organization, attending events, or engaging with us on social media. What makes UCO Homecoming so unique is that there truly is a place for everyone.”

Starting off strong with Alex Ketch! Alex is serving as this year’s Operations Director. When asked why she wanted to join HAB, she said:

“I have always enjoyed participating in homecoming and wanted to see what it was like being behind the scenes and how it helps create lasting memories for the UCO community!”

Up next is Kaisyn Shaw! Kaisyn is serving as this year’s Competition Director. Here’s why he joined HAB:

“After experiencing what homecoming had to offer my freshman year with all the various events, I knew that this was the first organization I wanted to be apart of at UCO.”
