The FBI’s Collegiate Hiring Initiative is accepting applications! Recent college graduates and students graduating by May 2027 are encouraged to explore opportunities with the Oklahoma City Field Office.

🔎 General positions include operational support, human resources, evidence technician and more.

💻 Technical positions include computer science, digital operations, electronics, systems administration and digital forensic examination.

⏰ Apply early! Some postings close October 30 or once 750 applications are received, whichever comes first.

🚔 Community policing starts with conversation.

At Criminal Justice Day, our students had the opportunity to connect directly with members of the Edmond Police Department, ask questions, learn about the profession, and have conversations beyond the classroom.

This Thursday, that conversation continues.

The Edmond Community Policing Board presents Community Conversations: Edmond Police Department: Today and Tomorrow, right here at UCO.

🚔🚁 CJ DAY 2026. THAT’S A WRAP! 💙💛

What. A. Day. 🙌

Students, educators, law enforcement agencies, criminal justice professionals, community partners, and our UCO family all came together for one incredible afternoon of exploring careers, making connections, and seeing just how many opportunities exist in the criminal justice field.

As Oklahoma’s first Criminal Justice program, we’re incredibly proud to keep building on more than 50 years of preparing students for careers that serve our communities.

To every agency and organization that joined us, every school that brought students, every volunteer who helped make the day happen, and everyone who stopped by to experience CJ Day, THANK YOU.

There is a whole lot of work behind an event like this, but seeing Parking Lot 6 packed with students discovering what their future could look like makes every bit of it worth it.

The day is finally here, and we are SO excited to welcome everyone to the University of Central Oklahoma for Criminal Justice Day 2026! 🚔🚁💙💛

The UCO School of Criminal Justice has been preparing for this day, and now it’s time to show you what criminal justice is all about.

We’re proud to be the first criminal justice program in the state of Oklahoma, right here at UCO, the third largest university in the state. Today, we get to bring together future criminal justice professionals, current students, educators, and agencies from across the field for one seriously awesome afternoon.

We’ll have representatives from local, state, and federal agencies, including the U.S. Secret Service, U.S. Marshals Service, FBI, ATF, OSBI, Oklahoma Highway Patrol, Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics, U.S. Probation, Department of the Army Criminal Investigation Division, and police departments and sheriff’s offices from across Oklahoma and beyond.

🚔 Career Opportunity: Tulsa Police Department

For this Throwback Thursday, we’re looking back at Tulsa Police Department joining us for Criminal Justice Day 2023, and we’re excited to welcome them back for CJ Day 2026!

Thinking about where your Criminal Justice degree could take you?

The Tulsa Police Department is currently recruiting and offers career paths across more than 60 specialty opportunities, including investigations, K9, helicopter and air support, motorcycle unit, bomb squad, narcotics, intelligence, traffic enforcement, community engagement, and more.

The hiring process typically takes approximately 5 to 6 months, with two academies each year, beginning in March and September.
