The Asian-American Student Association (AASA) is a student-run organization with the purpose of developing and promoting unity within the Asian-American community at the University of Central Oklahoma. AASA serves as an outlet for the student body to gain knowledge and respect for the various Eastern cultures and to educate others on traditions, customs, and important issues.

Thank you so much to everyone who came to our annual Asian Moon Festival last night! Events like the Asian Moon Festival are meaningful ways for us to celebrate Asian cultures and traditions while creating a sense of belonging. You all are the reason why we do what we do🫶🏼

Huge thank you to our volunteers, interns, DJ, vendors, performers, and organizations tabling making this year’s AMF successful. We couldn’t have done it without yall!🤍

We are super excited to announce our 2026-2027 Asian Moon Festival vendors!🥳 As you swipe through, we have a few words from our lovely vendors as well☺️

The festival will take place on Thursday, October 8th from 6:00-9:00pm on Buddy’s Lawn‼️Aside from these wonderful vendors, we will also have free food, cultural performances, games, activities, and more!

Free entry. All are welcome🫶🏼 Free parking in lots 4, 6, 10, and 11. You will not want to miss out this year!🌙🏮



We specialize in soft and nostalgic bakes that infuse Asian-inspired flavors that we grew up with and share it with the community!

Art Mini Mart is a collective of local AAPI artists and creatives! We aim to host local monthly pop-up events partnering with OK businesses to help foster community and creativity. Our art pieces range from crochet, art prints, beaded artwork, keychains, and more!

Mixpixi is a small art business that makes plushies and merch of unique, whimsical creatures. Artist Anna schein is currently an ecology major at UCO

I’m Kysan J.B of Hoi Sin Art & Trading and my goal is to preserve the craft of lion head making which is considered an UNESCO intangible cultural heritage in many Asian countries. I’ll be giving away some stickers, lion dance themed Pokémon cards, and some free snacks. On the side I sell joss products like ribbons and Kim Hue to help me continue making lion heads and repairs.
