It is so nice to be able to gather again! UCO was well represented at the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce’s fundraiser “One Taste at a Time.” If you have never been we highly recommend it. There was live music, food, beverages, and dancing. This casual mixer is a great place to socialize and network while raising money to support the Hispanic community.

Congratulations to the class of 2021!!!!!!! We can’t wait to celebrate you today!

On September 23rd at 10:00am, the organizations of the Diversity Round Table will participate in a solidarity march to rally for changes in our society, we are calling upon students and staff to wear black in supporting us as we continue the fight for change. Meet under the blue tent by Broncho Lake. They also call on the UCO community to register to vote in this November’s election, to vote in the next special election, and to vote whenever they can. The deadline for registering in this upcoming election is October 9th. On November 3rd, please demand change by electing people who will genuinely represent us in our state and federal legislatures. The solidarity march will highlight some of the key topics of the upcoming ballots, such as candidates and state questions. They want to prevent future injustices from happening and to build a more just, equitable, and inclusive future. We can build a future for those to come that is both just and inclusive. Join the UCO community as we advocate for those who can’t. Together, we can be the changes we want to see.
