It was a busy day of making in the UM Art Department! First, we welcomed the 55 Alive group from Luke 4:18 Fellowship at a Pottery Wheel throwing demonstration by graduate student Abigale Bell. We also continued our Summer graduate student Quilting Workshop, where several students began the process of sandwiching and quilting their creations.

We love to host local church groups. Feel free to reach out about having my us host a demonstration or workshop for your community.

Other Worldly - a group exhibit of works by faculty, students, and alumni - opens Monday, August 21 in the Marilyn Foley Art Gallery. The gallery is open to the public 8-4:30, Monday-Thursday. Join us for an out-of-this world closing reception on Thursday, September 21 at 6pm.
