DID YOU KNOW, that there are Certain Classes that students have the option of taking for "ONLY PASSING CREDIT" and not for an Actual Letter Grade (A-F)!? This Option is usually ideal for Prerequisite Classes Or General Education Classes that are Not Required for Transfer By One's Major. For Example, if your Major Requires Calculus, Math 180 but you first must take Math 176 Precal as a Prerequisite to get to Math 180, you can consider take the Math 176 Prereq for Pass / No Pass Credit... This is Especially Useful if you feel as though you may earn anything other than an "A" or "B" Grade in that Math class as a 6Unit "C" Grade from that Math Class will drag your G.P.A. all the way down!!! PLEASE CONSULT WITH A GROSSMONT COUNSELOR Before you make any decisions on The Pass / No Pass Option for your Class(es). 🙌🏿✊🏿💪🏿

AMAZING FEELING!!!! EVERY STUDENT, ESPECIALLY BLACK & AFRICAN AMERICAN Students should seriously consider Transferring to one of out Nation's Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) along with their UC and CSU considerations... Extremely hard to explain that theres ABSOLUTELY NOTHING LIKE THE FEELING AND EXPERIENCE YOU RECIEVE AT THESE INSTITUTIONS!! Many of these institutions were founded in the 1800s in the Hearts Of Where the Black Communities in this Country Began and Its almost as if that Rich Heritage, History, and our Roots are alive in the vines of these Illustrious Campuses... This is what UMOJA Student and Grossmont College Spring 2020 Graduate Wayne Scott and his other GC Classmates who transferred to HBCUs this fall are experiencing right now!!
