Come join the Office of Student Affairs, Associated Students, and Basic Needs in Building 60 to celebrate Constiution Day! This is a federal observance that recognizes the adoption of the United States Constitution and those who have become U.S. citizens.

From 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM, we will be giving out free popsicles, ice cream, and mini-constitutions while playing Hamilton (2015) in the Griffin Dining Center - Building 60 at Grossmont College. The League of Women Voters will also be in attendance providing voter registration information ahead of this year's general election in November!

Charleen Green, PsyD, Assistant Dean of Admissions, Outreach, and Diversity, will share insight into what helps applicants stand out, including academic preparation, leadership, clinical exposure, service, resilience, and alignment with a school’s mission. Albert Chevez, MA, Director of Admissions Programs and Recruitment, will share guidance on what helps applicants stand out, including academic preparation, service, clinical exposure, leadership, reflection, resilience, and alignment with a school’s mission and values. Students will learn how to think more intentionally about their experiences, communicate their story with authenticity, and avoid common mistakes that can weaken an otherwise strong application.
