Student Spotlight: Victor Toribio | Guam
Bachelor of Science in Health Services Management

After a 20-year career in the U.S. Navy, retiring as a Chief Hospital Corpsman, Victor Toribio continued his career with Military Sealift Command (MSC) for another 20 years.

After four decades of service and dedication to others, Victor decided it was time to focus on one of his own goals: earning his bachelor's degree.

Victor embraces a mindset that inspires lifelong learning: "The moment you stop moving is when you get old."

He is still moving forward, still setting goals, and still learning. His journey is a wonderful reminder that education has no age limit, and it's never too late to accomplish something you've always wanted for yourself.

Pictured with Victor is Camila from our UMGC office at Naval Base Guam, who was proud to support him along the way.

Cheers to Victor, lifelong learning, and continuing to move forward!
