American Chemical Society-Student Members at UTEP The American Chemical Society- Student Members at The University of Texas at El Paso. We meet every two mondays at 5:30pm. (Room TBD) All majors welcome!

The objective of this Student Chapter shall be to afford an opportunity for students of the chemistry and related sciences to become better acquainted, to secure the intellectual stimulation that arises from professional association, to obtain experience in preparing and presenting technical material before chemical audiences, to foster a professional spirit among the members, to instill a profess

ional pride in the chemical sciences, and to foster an awareness of the responsibilities and challenges of the modern scientist.

BIG thank you to the for having us this weekend!! Super grateful for being able to be saturdays main act on stage to having our booth where we helped spark children’s interest of how exactly chemistry works by making slime, explaining density and dripping various items into liquid nitrogen.
