🎼 The San Francisco Opera Chorus is holding auditions for new members!
You know them and you love them—they are the cigarette factory workers in Carmen, the virtuous nuns in Dialogues of the Carmelites, and the deceased loved ones waiting to revisit their family in El último sueño de Frida y Diego. There would be no show without the harmonious voices of the San Francisco Opera Chorus.

Want to be a part of one of the most esteemed choruses in the country?

The San Francisco Opera will hold auditions in October and November for experienced, classically trained singers singers a professional contract with the San Francisco Opera Chorus.

Multiple positions for all voice parts will be available
🎶 Full-time Regular Chorus:
Soprano: 3 positions
Mezzo-Soprano: 1 position
Tenor: 2 positions
Baritone/Bass: 3 positions
Section TBD: 2 positions
🎶Part-time Extra Chorus Positions:
Soprano & Mezzo: Up to 15 assignments
Tenor, Baritone & Bass: Up to 34 assignments
