Searching for building materials that combine rigidity and light weight? Carbon fiber rods are ideal. They are ⅓ the weight of aluminum rods but offer similar or better strength characteristics. Manufactured through pultrusion, carbon fiber rods deliver high axial strength, straight fiber alignment, precise dimensions, and a smooth surface.

When every ounce matters, choosing the right material can transform your product. Carbon fiber offers exceptional strength-to-weight and stiffness-to-weight performance—but success starts with designing for composites, not simply replacing material.

The Element6 team at DragonPlate helps engineers and designers turn ideas into high-performance carbon fiber solutions.

Let's build something better together.

Carbon fiber isn’t just for race cars; it’s in more everyday products than most people realize. At DragonPlate, we turn advanced composites into practical, ready-to-use materials—so builders, makers, and engineers can get lightweight strength that they can count on.

☑Where you’ll find carbon fiber doing heavy lifting:

☑ Aerospace and aircraft structures

☑ Military and protective equipment

☑ Sporting goods and performance gear

☑ X-ray applications because the material is “radiolucent,”

☑ Medical devices and prosthetics

Need plates, sheets, or custom-cut parts for your next project? Explore what DragonPlate can do for you.

Allred & Associates is excited to sponsor the Design, Build, Fly team at Johns Hopkins University, a student multi-disciplinary club that designs and builds RC aircraft to compete in the annual American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics Design/Build/Fly competition.

Our carbon fiber tubes will play a critical role in the aircraft’s wing structure, helping the team push their design further in the upcoming competition.

We’re honored to support these talented students as they turn engineering concepts into real-world flight and gain hands-on experience designing, building, and testing innovative aircraft.
