The social work program and psychology students recently had the opportunity to hear from Mrs. Gemini Johnson regarding her application of Cognitive Behavior Therapy with clients. Mrs. Johnson is the owner of Haven Mental Wellness, where she practices as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and certified Yoga Instructor, adopting a holistic approach to facilitate client healing. 💙❤️

Strong School of Social Work, providing a valuable opportunity for students and faculty to engage in learning, growth, and networking. CSWE staff hosted the Katherine A. Kendall Institute for International Social Work Education advisory board this week for their spring meeting. The group discussed the Kendall Institute grant program and engaged in planning for international education initiatives over the next year. The board is led by its chairperson, Dr. Golam Mathbor from Monmouth University, and by vice chair Dr. Itunu Ilesanmi from University of Northern Iowa.
