In November it is time for us to vote, and once again I am asking for your vote. I have served this community and its public school system for 12+ years as a proactive member of the ECPPS Board of Education, and I wish to continue being a knowledgeable voice at the table. I am extremely proud of my position as chair when Dr. Parker was hired, and I wish to continue helping implement innovative initiatives that have bolstered our educational relevance on behalf of our community, our students, and our strong professional staff. Our students are our future and in order to progress as a community, we must give them every opportunity to reach their potential and to encourage them to pursue their dreams! ECPPS, with the wind in our sails, is steering toward continued success-we have worked to solidify our wonderful partnerships inside and outside of our community. Our teachers have dedicated themselves to providing meaningful instruction that encourage creativity, flexibility, logic, and applicable skills. We have emphasized the importance and beauty of learning at every stage of life! As a retired teacher and an experienced board member, I feel confident that my perspective and commitment is needed as we go into the future with strategic planning ! Your vote is extremely appreciated and I will continue representing you responsibly and passionately!!
