Homecoming 2026. We enjoyed seeing former students, and we happily presented awards to two amazing alumni. Michelle Woodbury, PhD, OTR/L (BS '86) received the Doris Gordon Alumni Award, named in honor of the founder of Etown's program. Dr. Woodbury was noted for her extensive research leadership and federally funded clinical studies in neurorehab and improving outcomes for people recovering from strokes, her dedication to occupational therapy education, and her service as a puppy raiser for Canine Companions. Meghan Chemidlin, OTD, OTR/L (MS' 20, OTD '22) received the Distinguished Young Alumni Award for her early career achievements in neurorehab and concussion care, advanced certifications and commitment to education of other healthcare professionals, and service to a local non-profit that supports people during their recovery from concussions/TBI.
Thank you to President Betty Rider for joining us during the awards presentation. Keep shining, blue jays!
