The MPS Student Board hosted the first-ever pumpkin fundraiser this semester, bringing together classmates from across CNU for a fun and festive community event. Students tested their math and estimation skills by guessing the weight of the giant pumpkin for a chance to win a $10 Dutch Bros gift card, with some even calculating pumpkin density averages for the most accurate guess.

The big pumpkin weighed 24.4lbs, and congratulations goes to our winner William Sande (COM), who guessed closest to the exact weight at 24.36lbs. Alvan Cai (COM) came in second at 23.81lbs, while Ohm Patel (MPS-OH), Shahadat Hossain (DPS) and Patrick Moreno followed closely with a guess of 25lbs, just 0.6lbs away from the true weight, and Alfred Assaf (MPS-OH) at 23lbs.

It was a wonderful afternoon connecting with fellow MPS classmates, medical and pharmacy students, alumni (Gratiana, Jas and Anagha), and supportive CNU faculty and staff. Thank you to everyone who stopped by, joined the fun, and supported our MPS program. Our first fundraiser was a huge success!
