IUSB Speech-Language Pathology is headed to the 2026 ASHA Convention in Indianapolis!

Stop by the Graduate School Fair to learn more about our SLP program, then catch IUSB faculty, adjunct faculty, and clinical partners presenting throughout the convention. Their sessions cover dysphagia education, cancer-related cognitive impairment, communication disabilities, literacy, assistive technology, interprofessional learning, and clinical education.

Are you a speech-language pathologist within your first 1–3 years of professional practice?

We’re seeking participants for a study exploring how graduate coursework and clinical practicum experiences relate to the transition into professional practice and SLP job satisfaction.

Study Information:
*Anonymous online survey
*Approximately 20–25 minutes
*Participation is voluntary
*No compensation for participation

September is NICU Awareness Month. For many infants and families, the NICU is where their story begins. Speech-Language Pathologists play an important role in supporting feeding, swallowing, and early communication development—even in the earliest stages of life.

Through collaboration with families and healthcare teams, SLPs help build the foundation for growth, connection, and communication.

This month, we recognize the strength of NICU families and the interdisciplinary teams who support them every step of the way.
