Dear parents,
Thank you for your support of Camp C-Woo over the years. CWU Recreation has enjoyed a successful run of youth summer camps, and the main reason for that success is the involvement of our families throughout the Ellensburg community.
Unfortunately, times have changed and CWU Recreation recently had to make the difficult decision to close Camp C-Woo indefinitely. The pandemic dramatically altered the landscape since our last camp in 2019, and due to rising operational expenses and our inability to provide equitable access for the entire community, we have decided to suspend future plans for Camp C-Woo.
Please know that our staff has cherished the time we got to spend with your children and the memories we have created with all of our camp families. Camp C-Woo has been a valuable asset to CWU and the community for many years, and it’s hard to say goodbye.
We wish you health and happiness in the future.
All the best,
Matthew Boyer
Director
