From the CWU stage to San Diego Comic-Con!

Huge congratulations to 2019 Theatre Arts grad Maggie Walker for taking home the Fan Spotlight Award at this year’s Her Universe Fashion Show!

Her stunning "Starfire and Stardust" gown paid homage to the classic Teen Titans character, featuring five layers of organza and a galaxy-lit runway reveal. Maggie's success shows how far Wildcat creativity and dedication can take you as she continues inspiring the next generation of designers.

All month long, CWU’s College of Arts and Humanities is celebrating the disciplines that shaped so many Wildcat careers, and everyone’s invited.

Arts and Humanities month runs throughout October with events open to the public: an address from Washington State Poet Laureate Derek Sheffield on October 5th, a CAH Majors and minors fair on October 20th, a Halloween-themed orchestra concert on October 26th, and a Night of Ghost Stories on October 30th, plus panels, artist talks, film screenings, and more.

If you studied Art + Design, Communication, English, History, Music, Philosophy, Theatre and Film, or World Languages and Cultures, or you’re just near Ellensburg, there’s something worth stopping by for all month long.
