Elmhurst University’s internationally renowned music department offers exceptional opportunities for students interested in the serious study of music. Whether you’re a music major or pursuing a different major, the Elmhurst University music department has a place for you. Our distinguished faculty includes members of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, Chicago Symphony Chorus, Lyric Opera of Chicago,

Grant Park Symphony Chorus and Chicago Sinfonietta. Our nationally recognized jazz faculty is full of national recording artists and award winners. Imagine participating in ensembles that have recently performed in California, Canada, New York City and Europe. Envision yourself performing at Carnegie Hall, Ravinia Festival, Orchestra Hall, and with performers such as Andrea Bocelli, The Manhattan Transfer, Bobby McFerrin and Doc Severinsen.
