“Joining Zeta has truly been one of the best decisions I’ve made during my time at Elon. When I went through recruitment, Zeta’s philanthropy immediately meant something so personal to me because of my mom’s battle with breast cancer. It gave me an immediate connection to Zeta and played such a big role in knowing this was where I wanted to be.

Last year during recruitment, I was encouraged to share my mom’s story and talk about why our philanthropy means so much to me. Having my best friends there to support and encourage me while I shared something so personal made the experience even more meaningful. Getting to share my story with girls going through recruitment and explain why Zeta’s philanthropy holds such a special place in my heart is something I’ll always be grateful for.

Zeta has given me the opportunity to support a cause that is so close to my heart, while also surrounding me with girls who constantly support me, inspire me, and push me to be the best version of myself. I truly couldn’t be happier to call Zeta home. 💗”

Tomorrow, August 16th, our sister Nicole Baldwin will be running the Falmouth Road Race with fellow Eta Zeta sisters Kate Cotton, Devin Kelleher, and Maya Rocco as members of the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute team.
This race holds an especially meaningful place in Nicole’s heart. At 7 years old, Nicole was diagnosed with a Wilms tumor and underwent treatment. Now, 14 years later and cancer free, she continues to give back to the organization that supported her throughout her journey.

Nicole shared:
“This organization holds such a special place in my heart because of my treatment for a Wilms tumor and now 14 years later, I am cancer free! It means so much to me that the people of Zeta decided to show up for me and support me while running and fundraising for a cause that helped me when I needed it most. I am so excited and grateful to be able to complete this race on Sunday alongside my friends and family!”

We are so proud of Nicole, Kate, Devin, and Maya for taking on this challenge and dedicating their race to such an important cause. Each runner committed to raising thousands of dollars for the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, and we are so grateful to everyone who has supported them along the way.

Support our sisters and help Nicole, Kate, Devin, and Maya reach their fundraising goals! We’ll be sharing their fundraising links on our story today, so be sure to check it out and show your support! Every contribution makes a difference!

We are so proud of you girls!!
